The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you are looking for a robot mop and vacuum that's middle-of-the-road. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features of its more expensive counterpart.

In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the base of charging. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is setup you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button press. You can choose an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. We think this is a nice claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones produce little noise, allowing you to work or watch television without interruption. If it comes across the wall or a furniture piece, it gently bumps into it and moves along.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right, such as a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify the way that Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's clutter that must be removed regularly, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop performers in my test and Robot Vacuum and Mop was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you could want. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also has a new sensor system that is able to better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot mop vacuum and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed.

Lastly lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and a voice assistant that works offline, so you can use it even if you're not at home. It also has a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it enhances suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features you don't often see on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are nice to have but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury, which might make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners need.

Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The center of the control panel has a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the settings of the app where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
